Job Summary

•Daily monitoring of cash position through the bank reconciliation process, and posting of transactions onto accounting ledgers. •To be responsible for the monthly preparation of suspense account, and other relevant reconciliations, including the identification of discrepancies and discussion with Finance colleagues and administration departments to clear any outstanding items. •To be responsible for the production of monthly reports detailing and ageing unreconciled bank, suspense, holding and other relevant items. •To be able to provide effective cover for other team members, in particular, to be able to process critical daily and weekly transactions within tight deadlines. •To be responsible for the production of quarterly returns (eg VAT) for review by the Financial Accountant. •Assist with project work as and when required. •Assist in the production of consolidation packs, statutory accounts, for review by the Financial Accountant. •Financial analysis of MI data •To demonstrate a positive risk, compliance and control culture through the identification, assessment, monitoring and management of risks and issues within the business area, alongside ensuring timely and appropriate resolution of control weaknesses, actions and failures that arise
