•Maintain license to practice as a Dentist in the State of Qatar (essential).
•All registration and/or licenses and/or certifications need to remain current and active while under Employment (essential).
•Proficient in written and verbal English (essential).
•Sound communication and interpersonal skills (essential).
•Valid Qatar driving license (preferred).
•Occasional exposure to the risk of contracting contagious conditions, communicable diseases, blood, body fluids, etc.
•Licensed Dentist/registered with Supreme Council of Health (SCH) or will be within 6 months (essential).
•Evidence of continuous post graduate development (CPO) in line with QP standards in clinical and mandatory training (essential).
•BLS (Basic Life Support) (essential).
•Minimum 5 years full time clinical dental experience, inclusive of a 1 year foundation programme in a supervised environment (essential).
•Must maintain patient confidentiality.
•May be required to work shifts (incl. nights) and in various locations.
•Analyse and evaluate dental needs to determine treatment and changes/trends in patterns of dental diseases.
•Provide dental care services, i.e. routine dental surgery (removal of teeth, roots, cysts, etc), endodontics (root canal), crown and bridge work, orthodontics (correction of irregularities in natural teeth) and paedodontics (treatment of deciduous dentition).
•Diagnose and treat diseases, injuries and malformations of teeth, gums and related oral structures, and provide preventative and corrective services.
•Design and fit prosthodontic appliances, such as space maintainers, bridges, and dentures or write specifications or prescriptions for Dental Technician.
•Advise and instruct patients regarding preventative dental care, the causes and treatment of dental problems and oral health services.
•Promote and assist in implementation of dental health programmes and dental health Campaigns. This includes presentation to Community, Schools, presentations to Corporate Train
Bachelors Degree in Dentistry (from a World Health Organisation approved dental school) or equivalent (essential).
