Candidate Profile
Job Description •Provide designated business areas / initiatives with proactive support to determine and secure optimum partnerships or external sources of supply through executing appropriate processes and skills. •Support business personnel, execute all requirements of contract frameworks to process and contribute to deals principles formulation whilst minimising financial and regulatory risk. •In conjunction with Sourcing colleagues ensure commercially sound contractual cover is put in place for all third party arrangements within the role holder’s portfolio and the cover protects the company's long-term interests. •Ensure commercially sound contractual cover is in place for all projects within the role-holders portfolio. •Compliance – To ensure that you understand and adhere to Code of Conduct and, where appropriate, comply with all relevant regulatory policies. This includes completion of any mandatory training requirements. •Financial Controls – Ensure all expenditure commitments (orders, contracts, budgets etc) and all payments are properly authorised, controlled and monitored, in accordance with UK delegated authority requirements. The responsibilities of expenditure authorisers are documented in the UK Financial Procedures Manual. •Generate regular MI for the department covering activities undertaken within the role (as required and agreed with the Sourcing Procurement Manager). •Assist with the continuous development and maintenance of best practice and process, ensuring the business understands and utilises said processes, as required. •Demonstrate a positive risk, compliance and control culture through the identification, assessment, monitoring and management of risks and issues within the business area, alongside ensuring timely and appropriate resolution of control weaknesses, actions and failures that arise.

Job Summary

To carry out procurement based activities at UK Group level supporting business needs through utilizing the appropriate Sourcing process and tools. Build effective relationships with key stakeholders in the Business. Provide designated business areas / initiatives with commercial and contractual expertise for a range of low risk/low value contracts with external suppliers and partners. To support Sourcing colleagues, stakeholders and Sourcing Procurement manager in the utilisation of the recognised policies & procedures, monitoring effectiveness and driving continuous improvement.
